The 7-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong Inquiry made by the US Federal Prosecutors were already closed without charges. The case against the world’s most popular cyclist have ended after two-year battle of proving his innocence.

The world’s most popular cyclist was being charged of doping or using performance enhancing drugs during his greatest years in cycling. He was charged with doping together with his teammates during the peak of his career in third most popular sporting event in the world the Tour de France.

Lance Armstrong was considered as one of the greatest cyclist ever lived having won the championships of the Tour de France from 1999-2005.

The case against him will surely put a stained on his career, his legacy and accomplishments including his charitable works especially the cancer charity that he started.

After the deliberation that the inquiry on his case has been closed already by the Federal Prosecutors, Lance Armstrong was so thankful for his loyal fans and supporters who continued their beliefs on his innocence.

Lance Armstrong was quoted as saying that “I am gratified to learn that the U.S. Attorney’s Office is closing its investigation,” Armstrong said in a statement.

He adds further that “It is the right decision and I commend them for reaching it. I look forward to continuing my life as a father, a competitor, and an advocate in the fight against cancer without this distraction.” Armstrong said.
